Jharkhand Next: BJP's Nitin Nabin Vows Saffron Victory
Ranchi, October 24: BJP National President Nitin Nabin addressed a comprehensive meeting of the Jharkhand State Executive Committee in Ranchi on Saturday, urging workers to stay energised for the coming battles. He stated that the party's clear goal is to see the saffron flag flying from the panchayat level up to Parliament.
Nabin pointed to West Bengal, where he said the hard work of party workers had helped the BJP build strength under difficult conditions. Following that success, he said, 'Mission Jharkhand' was now the next priority.
The BJP chief hailed the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying it had given India and the world a new direction. He noted that 140 crore Indians repose their hopes, aspirations and unshakable faith in the Prime Minister. Nabin said that while some forces within the country and others from abroad keep conspiring to slow down India's progress and development, the people remain firmly with Modi.
In a pointed attack on the opposition, Nabin accused Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party of spreading anarchy and insulting constitutional institutions. He said that if anyone had damaged the pages of the Constitution, it was the Congress party and its leaders, pointing to the Emergency and the imposition of President's Rule in states. According to him, the Congress had run the country by the rules of one family rather than the Constitution.
He also alleged that Rahul Gandhi and the Congress were serving as a 'toolkit' of anti-national and foreign powers. Citing Bihar's electoral roll revision, Nabin said Congress leaders who alleged rigging did not raise claims or objections in any district.
Nabin concluded with an emotional note, saying he regretted that Jharkhand, his birthplace and the state where he had spent a long time, does not currently have a BJP government. He said that, on the strength of the party's determined workers, the cadre had already taken to the streets to end an oppressive system and establish a BJP government focused on public welfare.
