Jharkhand bounty hunters eye new suspects after Ganju’s death

Following the bounty of INR 2.5 million announced by the Jharkhand government and an additional INR 500,000 by the NIA, police are zeroing in on other high‑profile TSPC figures. One name surfacing is Shashikant Ganju from Kedal village in Palamu’s Manatu block, who now carries a reward of INR 1 million. He has a history of evading police encounters since 2010, including a deadly clash in September 2025 that left two officers dead.
