JDU Spokesperson Calls for Swift Measures Against Recruitment Scandals

During a press interaction on August 6, Janata Dal (United) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad voiced strong criticism of the ongoing recruitment scandals that have plagued Jharkhand’s public sector exams. He asserted that the protest movement is a direct response to the perceived commercialization of state jobs.

Prasad demanded that Chief Minister Hemant Soren take immediate action to neutralize the entire corrupt apparatus, describing the situation as a “job loot” that has persisted unchecked for years. He warned that any hesitation could exacerbate student dissatisfaction and fuel further unrest.

The spokesperson also commented on the central government’s stance toward a Meta video apology concerning Prime Minister Narendra Modi, insisting that the government must ensure that the platform respects India’s sovereignty, democratic values, and human dignity.

He concluded by urging lawmakers to pass pending bills without delay, stressing that a steady legislative flow is essential to address the underlying governance deficits highlighted by the student protests.
