JD(U) Insider Conflict: Neeraj Kumar Challenges Anant Singh’s Credibility

Patna, September 19 – A fierce exchange of words has ignited a rift within Bihar’s ruling Janata Dal (United). Mokama MLA Anant Singh and the party’s chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar found themselves locked in a public dispute over allegations of criminal influence.

Kumar told reporters that he never bows to anyone with a shady past, no matter their religion or community. "My birth on the Ganga's shore makes us resilient. We are forged from fire and water, and this is Mokama. If you try to intimidate us, the people will answer," he said.

Calling Singh a "Papad wrestler," Kumar challenged him to take the matter to court if he felt targeted. He also ridiculed Singh's speech, noting the spokesperson's inability to pronounce the term "narcotics test" correctly.

Further taunting, Kumar dismissed the "Mahamoorakh Conference" as a gathering of fools, naming Singh the chief guest and insisting that only a former prison saint would be suitable for such a role.

He reminded listeners of the respect accorded to the Bihar Legislative Council, pointing out that leaders such as Nitish Kumar and Samrat Chaudhary have simultaneously served as council members and chief ministers. Kumar accused Singh of holding anti‑EBC views, referencing the 2019 episode where Singh allegedly helped his wife win a seat before attempting to relocate her.

Kumar also claimed Singh admitted that a ticket reserved for the Extremely Backward Classes had been withdrawn, interpreting this as proof of his bias. He warned that anyone who refuses to accept Nitish Kumar’s leadership will be branded a political traitor.
