JDU defends removal of Jantar Mantar from protest list

Janata Dal (United) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan defended the Home Ministry’s decision, saying it aims to remove obstacles for ordinary citizens, traders and government administration. Continuous demonstrations at the historic observatory, he said, disrupted daily life and commercial activities.

Ranjan expressed confidence in the judiciary, noting that several petitions are now before the courts. He stated that any verdict rendered will be respected by all stakeholders.
