Jammu NIA Court Approves Warrant as Terror Suspect Remains at Large

The special judge of the NIA court in Jammu granted a non‑bailable warrant for Hafiz Saeed after hearing the prosecution’s submission and examining the accompanying documents. The judge noted that the investigative records clearly illustrate Saeed’s participation in terrorist activities, especially in supplying arms and financing insurgent operations in the Indian-administered Kashmir valley.

Since the accused continues to evade capture, the court concluded that the warrant is essential for law‑enforcement agencies to intensify their pursuit. The directive was formally issued on 8 September and conveyed to the Director General of the NIA, Jammu, for execution in line with legal protocols.
