₹13,037 Cr Jaipur Metro Phase‑2 to Link Key Industrial Zones

The second phase of the Jaipur Metro, priced at 13,037 crore rupees, will stretch 41 kilometres from Prhaladpura to Todi Mor, weaving through vital industrial corridors. The line will serve the Sitapura and V.K.I.A. industrial estates, the international airport, Tonk Road, Sawai Mansinh Hospital, the stadium, the Collectorate, the main railway station, Ambabari and Vidyadhar Nagar.

Thirty‑six stations are planned along the route, providing seamless connectivity for commuters and easing traffic congestion across the capital. Implementation will be overseen by Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (RMRC), a 50:50 joint venture between the central and state governments.

The metro expansion is expected to boost economic activity, attract investments and improve the quality of life for residents by offering a modern, efficient public‑transport alternative.
