The Jagannath Trust announced several upgrades for this year's Ratha Yatra fair, aiming to provide a comfortable experience for the swelling number of pilgrims. Improvements include expanded waiting areas, additional sanitation stations, and better lighting throughout the temple precincts.
Chairman Brijesh Singh emphasized that the trust has learned from past events and introduced measures to prevent crowd congestion. Secretary Shailesh Tripathi confirmed that security personnel and volunteers will be stationed at key points to guide devotees and ensure safety.
Organizers expect these enhancements to make the pilgrimage smoother, allowing participants to focus on worship rather than logistical hassles.
