In a landmark initiative, Adani International School in Ahmedabad’s Shantigram hosted the IRIS National Fair 2025-26 over three exciting days from February 6-8. Drawing 75 budding innovators from across 12 states and 24 cities, the event united students with teachers, researchers, and advisors to champion STEM excellence at the school level.
Gujarat Education Minister Rivaba Jadeja lit up the valedictory session with a powerful call to action. Schools, she urged, should pioneer research from the ground up. ‘Gone are the days when innovation was locked in college labs,’ Jadeja stated. ‘Places like Adani International School ignite that spark early. By encouraging kids to probe, experiment, and embrace setbacks, we cultivate true scientific minds. Transform schools into launchpads for ideas and problem-solving.’
Echoing her sentiments, Namrata Adani highlighted the school’s philosophy. ‘Nurturing curiosity from a young age is key, and learning must transcend books,’ she noted. ‘IRIS provides the perfect stage for students to innovate and tackle real-life issues head-on.’
Designed to extend learning beyond traditional boundaries, the fair combined research displays, guided workshops, seminars, and community interactions. It opened with a high-level conference for principals and educators, focusing on advancing inquiry-driven STEM pedagogies and immersive classroom techniques.
Young participants unveiled novel research projects in meticulously curated showcases, benefiting from specialist feedback. The finale featured speeches from Adani leaders, including Namrata Adani and energy sector CEO Amit Singh, celebrating multidisciplinary excellence.
