Investment and Innovation Drive UP's Industrial Growth: CM Yogi

Lucknow, October 28: Uttar Pradesh is becoming a principal centre of investment, innovation and industry, according to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Writing on the social media platform X, he highlighted to the people of the state the changes that have come about since 2017.

The Chief Minister launched a sharp critique of the previous administration, saying that prior to 2017 Uttar Pradesh had neither a clear strategy nor a concrete plan for drawing global investment. He credited the double-engine government with reversing this position. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, the Reform, Perform and Transform approach has created a fresh work culture for investment and industrial development across the state.

He pointed out that strong law and order, clear and transparent policies and a favourable investment environment have made Uttar Pradesh a principal centre of investment, innovation and industry. Building on this growing global confidence, a meeting is being held today with a delegation from Singapore. The talks will cover new investment possibilities in the state, accelerating existing projects and turning investment into actual production on the ground.

The Chief Minister also reassured residents that the state is advancing towards becoming a one trillion dollar economy. He said the commitment is that each investment will generate a new industry, each industry will create new employment and each job will bring prosperity to households.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously working to achieve the goal of transforming Uttar Pradesh into a one trillion dollar economy. Special emphasis is being placed on industrial growth, infrastructure expansion, incentives for investment and job creation. The government's effort is to speed up economic activity through the effective implementation of development plans.

Expressways, airports, industrial corridors and freight networks are being expanded so that industries get better transport facilities and ready markets. Through the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme, local products are being connected to national and international markets. The state is also focusing on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to create new employment opportunities.
