Investigation Ongoing in Telangana Family Murder Case, Suspect Still at Large
Hyderabad, July 11 – A gruesome homicide case in Rangareddy district, Telangana, has left authorities scrambling to locate a 35‑year‑old suspect who allegedly killed his wife, Parvati Sarita, and his two sons, aged four and one, on a Friday night.
The accused is also linked to the murder of a 17‑year‑old girl who filed a sexual‑harassment complaint against him earlier in the year under the POCSO Act. Police claim the man forced the teenager into his car, drove her to a secluded spot and killed her. The girl’s 45‑year‑old mother and 65‑year‑old grandmother were also slain inside the family home, while the girl’s 20‑year‑old disabled sister survived unharmed.
After the killings, the suspect is said to have called his father, admitted the crimes, and then switched off his mobile device. Unverified reports suggest he mentioned suicide. Multiple police teams have been deployed to trace his movements, following several leads.
The couple’s love marriage in 2018 led them to reside in Shabad and Devalaguda. They had three children, but their eldest daughter died at a young age. In May, the teenage complainant accused the man of stalking and repeated sexual proposals, resulting in his arrest. He later received bail because the charges carried a maximum penalty of less than seven years.
Neighbors observed that the children appeared to be sleeping when the assault occurred, and the bedroom showed signs of a violent clash. The door was locked from within, yet the fan, air‑conditioner, and cooler were still operating.
Forensic teams have examined all crime scenes, and investigators are piecing together the sequence of events to determine the motive behind these killings.
