Investigation Links Ex‑NCO to Theft of Rifles and Pistols from 20 Battalion

The joint operation involving Hyderabad Task Force and the Special Operations Team of Malakajgiri Commission resulted in Mallesh’s arrest. A comprehensive inventory of the stolen stock was recovered, including four AK‑203 assault rifles with magazines, an INSAS rifle with three magazines, six 9 mm pistols with twelve magazines, a civilian 6.35 mm pistol with its magazine, a passive night‑vision binocular, 1,156 rounds for the 9 mm pistols, 720 rounds for the AK‑203, various 5.56 mm ammunition, 11 INSAS rounds, five tracer rounds and twenty empty casings. All items have been secured by the police.
