Investigation into former MLA murder reaches Haryana, Madhya Pradesh
The murder probe of ex-MLA Atar Singh Bhadana has expanded beyond Rajasthan's borders, with law enforcement agencies in Haryana and Madhya Pradesh joining the hunt for alleged perpetrators. The most recent development saw Mukesh, the sixth person named in the case, placed under police custody for interrogation. The investigation originated after Kamlesh Bhadana filed a complaint that resulted in an FIR covering 64 named suspects and an additional 70-80 individuals. While five suspects have already been apprehended, officials say a concerted effort involving over 30 police teams is underway to locate the rest. The search is further aided by CCTV footage, whose DVR is believed to be in the possession of Kamlesh Bhadana, and could shed light on the suspects' identities.
