Investigation Leads to Arrest of Two Suspects in Sakti Temple Heist

Sakti police have closed in on the thieves responsible for stealing the silver crown from the Sai Temple. After a detailed inquiry, two individuals were placed under arrest and the stolen artifact was retrieved.

The complaint was filed by local resident Vijay Bahadur, who reported the missing crown to the Sakti police station. He indicated that the theft occurred while the temple was unattended.

Senior officers, including SSP Prafull Thakur, coordinated the response, with AP Pankaj Patel and SDOP Dr. Bhuneshwari Pakra overseeing field operations. Their team collected forensic evidence, interviewed witnesses, and mapped the suspects' movements.

The investigation traced the perpetrators to Satish Dubey of Bichhua village, Madhya Pradesh, and his partner Nanki Ram Chauhan from Raigarh. Both confessed to the crime during interrogation.

The recovered silver crown, weighing 500 grams, was secured in the presence of witnesses and entered into the case file. The accused have been remanded to judicial custody while further inquiries are underway.
