Intricate Sand Portrait of Vladimir Putin Showcased by Indian Artist

Manas Kumar Sahu, a leading sand‑art creator from Odisha, presented an intricate sand portrait of Russian President Vladimir Putin on his birthday. The display combines a high‑definition likeness of the president with childhood snapshots and a backdrop of Russia’s famed architecture.

The artwork bears the inscription “Happy Birthday President Vladimir Putin” crafted entirely from fine sand particles. Landmarks such as the Kremlin’s towers and the historic St. Isaac’s Cathedral are rendered alongside the portrait, creating a vivid visual narrative.

According to Sahu, the two‑hour project was designed to celebrate the enduring friendship between India and Russia, offering a unique artistic gesture that bridges cultural and diplomatic ties.
