The seizure on October 1, 2024 by a Delhi Police special team uncovered narcotics worth roughly INR 13,000 crore, naming Veerendra as a primary supplier operating from abroad. Authorities allege the ring runs a sprawling network in Delhi, Punjab, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Goa, using hawala channels and offshore accounts to launder billions of rupees.
