Inter‑state narcotics ring broken, MDMA and cocaine confiscated

Karnataka’s Home Minister praised the police for dismantling an inter‑state drug smuggling network. In one operation under Hebbal police station, officials seized 17.282 kg of MDMA worth 17.28 crore rupees and arrested a foreign national. A separate action by the Central Crime Branch’s anti‑narcotics wing yielded 6.718 kg of MDMA and 20 grams of cocaine, valued at 7.15 crore rupees, with four individuals detained. Additional raids recovered five kilograms of MDMA and 1,000 ecstasy tablets, amounting to six crore rupees. Ongoing investigations aim to trace the supply chain and financial links of the syndicate.
