Indore to Host RSS Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal Meeting
Indore will be the venue for the annual Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal meeting of the RSS, scheduled for November 2, 3 and 4. The organisation has announced that top leaders and workers from across the country will gather in the city for the three-day event.
The meeting will be attended by Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, all six Sah Sarkaryavahs, heads of All India departments and members of the executive committee.
Representatives from all 46 provinces, including Prant Sanghchalaks, Karyavahs, Pracharaks and their deputies, are set to participate. Leaders from all 11 regions and their supporting office-bearers will also be present.
The gathering assumes special significance as it follows the recently concluded Vijayadashami celebrations, which closed a year-long run of centenary programmes across the country. The meeting will take stock of the events held during the centenary year.
Participants will also discuss the themes highlighted in Dr. Bhagwat's Vijayadashami address and exchange views on several important issues facing the nation today.
The Sangh has indicated that the discussions may include digital and new media content, the increasing problem of drug abuse, external interference, the global environment, and other social and national subjects. The outcome is expected to guide the organisation's future events, action plans and approach to national matters.
