An IndiGo flight headed to Agartala was compelled to return to Kolkata shortly after takeoff due to a mid-air technical problem. The aircraft, which had departed from Kolkata, was en route to Agartala when the issue arose, prompting the pilot to turn back and land in Kolkata. In a separate incident, a Leh-bound IndiGo flight also made an emergency landing at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport after experiencing a technical snag mid-flight. This flight, carrying 180 passengers, was forced to return to Delhi. IndiGo has assured its customers that the affected aircraft are undergoing thorough maintenance. Furthermore, a replacement aircraft has been deployed to minimize travel disruptions. Similarly, a Hyderabad-Tirupati SpiceJet flight also made an emergency landing due to a technical issue.
