The suspect, linked to a multi‑crore fraud that targeted Indian nationals in Singapore, was intercepted in the United States following an Interpol red notice. The CBI’s swift action at Indira Gandhi International Airport ensured Singh’s arrest without incident.

He is slated to face the Special Judicial Magistrate in Panchkula, where the court will address charges that include conspiracy, fraud, forgery of documents, and violations of the Information Technology Act.
