Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed India’s concerns and emphasized the need for early restoration of peace and stability in the region during a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu briefed Modi on the evolving situation following Israeli air strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Netanyahu also spoke with other world leaders, including the German Chancellor and the French President. The Israeli Prime Minister announced a “very successful opening strike” and stated that Israeli forces have significantly damaged the Natanz nuclear site. An IDF spokesman warned of a prolonged operation, as Iran prepares to respond.
