India Sends 10 Ton Humanitarian Relief to Flood‑Hit Nepal

In response to the Nepal flood crisis, the Indian Government dispatched a 10‑ton humanitarian aid package to the affected areas. The relief convoy, overseen by the Indian embassy, was formally handed over to Nepal’s Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Paudel.

The shipment includes essential items such as dry food rations, blankets, medical supplies and portable water purification units, aimed at supporting families displaced by the flood and landslide.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ranveer Jaiswal reaffirmed India’s commitment to stand firmly with Nepal during this challenging period and pledged ongoing assistance as the rescue and recovery efforts progress.
