India pledges humanitarian aid to flood‑hit Nepal, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, responding to the same crisis, expressed his sympathy to Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah on X. He confirmed that India is ready to extend every form of humanitarian assistance to the flood‑stricken regions.

Modi outlined that Indian disaster‑relief teams are already in touch with their Nepalese counterparts, sharing resources, rescue equipment, and medical supplies. He assured that the assistance would be sustained until the situation stabilises.
