India Marks Vishwakarma Festival with Messages from Top Leaders

New Delhi, 17 September – On the auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, chief ministers from eight Indian states issued congratulatory posts on the social platform X. Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi Adityanath highlighted Vishwakarma as the patron of creation, skill and labour, wishing progress and prosperity to craftsmen, engineers and diligent workers.

Madhya Pradesh’s Dr. Mohan Yadav, Bihar’s Samrat Chaudhary, Uttarakhand’s Pushkar Singh Dhami, Rajasthan’s Bhajanlal Sharma, Delhi’s Rekha Gupta, Haryana’s Nayab Saini and Himachal Pradesh’s Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu each conveyed similar blessings, emphasizing the deity’s role in fostering innovation, craftsmanship and national development.
