India’s Head of State to Serve as Chief Guest at 72nd National Film Awards in Gujarat

President Droupadi Murmu will act as chief guest at the 72nd National Film Awards ceremony on September 22 in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat. Alongside the President, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will attend, joined by prominent figures from Bollywood and South Indian cinema. The 75‑minute main event will feature the presentation of trophies and certificates, a speech by the President, a cultural program on the Narmada banks, and a special laser‑light‑sound show at the Statue of Unity.
