India’s Top Cabinet Ministers Recall Vinoba Bhave’s Legacy

Delhi – As the nation marked the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Acharya Vinoba Bhave, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a full complement of cabinet ministers issued heartfelt tributes. Modi’s message praised Bhave’s inspirational "Jai Jagat" rally and his relentless focus on the welfare of the underprivileged, noting that Bhave’s land‑gift campaigns strengthened social equity.

Education Minister Prahlad Joshi highlighted Bhave’s transformation of compassion into a mass movement, while Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan offered "countless salutations" and pledged to work under Bhave’s enlightened guidance.
