India Alliance to Stage Block‑Level Demonstrations from Oct 2‑8

The India Alliance, formed by a coalition of opposition parties, set a timetable for protest actions spanning October 2 to October 8. Block‑level programmes and demonstrations will be held across Bihar, followed by an attempt to present a representative delegation to the President. The plan also includes large public meetings in four to five major locations, as well as a proposed rally in Patna. The alliance stresses that its core demand is impartial elections and equal opportunity for all political parties.
