Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off the highly anticipated India AI Impact Expo 2026 today at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This five-day extravaganza, from February 16-20, coincides with the India AI Impact Summit and covers more than 70,000 square meters with 10 specialized zones.
Participants include top tech companies worldwide, innovative startups, universities, research bodies, government departments, and international collaborators. Thirteen nations are setting up dedicated pavilions to promote cross-border AI partnerships: Australia, Japan, Russia, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and select African countries.
Visitors can explore over 300 meticulously curated pavilions and live demos themed around People, Planet, and Progress. A highlight is the participation of 600+ startups presenting practical, deployable AI solutions already in use, complete with interactive working prototypes.
Anticipating over 250,000 attendees including international representatives, the expo focuses on generating fresh collaborations and trade prospects in the AI domain. More than 500 sessions with 3,250 expert speakers will delve into AI’s evolving role in various industries and equitable distribution of its advantages.
The PMO emphasizes that the expo exemplifies India’s AI ecosystem, connecting policymaking with execution, fostering innovation at scale, and linking advanced tech directly to public welfare. This platform cements India’s stature on the world AI stage.
