Eligibility and Application Details for ICAI Branch Incharge Jobs 2026

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a recruitment drive for 129 Branch Incharge roles in its five regional councils. The vacancy distribution includes 42 posts in Central India, 7 in Eastern India, 20 in Northern India, 31 in Southern India, and 31 in Western India. The application period runs from July 3 to July 19, 2026.

Prospective candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university and should have a minimum of five years of banking experience. The age bracket for applicants is 27 to 40 years, calculated on June 30, with permissible relaxation for candidates from reserved categories.

Selection will involve a computer‑based test (CBT), followed by an interview, a competency test, and verification of the submitted documents. Salaries will be aligned with ICAI's existing pay rules. An online fee of INR 250 is mandatory for every applicant at the time of registration.
