The nation’s first hydrogen‑powered train rolled out from Jind Junction in Haryana after Prime Minister Modi gave the green signal. Running on an 89‑kilometre stretch between Jind and Sonipat, the train is powered by domestically produced hydrogen stored and refuelled at Jind’s dedicated facility. Pathak lauded the initiative as a breakthrough for eco‑friendly mobility and a tangible step toward the ‘Developed India’ dream.
