Historical violence against Sukhbir Badal explained

Sukhbir Badal, a senior figure in Punjab politics, has faced multiple attacks over the past years. The most recent incident occurred on Thursday when a knife‑wielding assailant struck him at the Gurudwara Mata Sahib Diwan in Nanded.

Badal, who was serving as a volunteer at the Golden Temple gate in December 2024, survived an earlier assault that left him hospitalized. The current episode leaves him hospitalized again, with doctors confirming his condition as stable.
