A tragic incident in Himachal Pradesh resulted in the deaths of at least five people after a bus veered off the road and plunged into a gorge near the Maseran area of the Sarkaghat sub-division. The accident site is approximately 60 kilometers from Mandi. Emergency responders transported around 20 injured individuals to Sarkaghat Hospital, where they are receiving medical attention, with some in critical condition. Rescue and relief operations are currently ongoing. The police and local administration are actively involved in the efforts.
