High-Level Review Panel Convened to Tackle Swine Flu Surge

A special high‑level review meeting was convened at the Directorate of Medical and Health Services. CMOs, SMSs and college principals participated virtually to evaluate the escalation of H1N1 cases. Discussions focused on rapid diagnostics, availability of antivirals and the establishment of dedicated registration counters in hospitals for flu patients. Special vigilance was also ordered for border districts adjoining Nepal, ensuring that patients from both sides receive immediate medical attention.
