Hemaram Chaudhary wins Jodhpur Ward 50 in re-poll, BJP gains edge

In Jodhpur’s Ward 50, a re‑poll ordered after a malfunctioning EVM at booth 338 resulted in a decisive win for the BJP’s Hemaram Chaudhary. He amassed 1,725 votes, surpassing Congress’s Yuvraj Singh, who gathered 1,642 votes (including 1,641 EVM votes and one postal ballot). The margin was 83 votes. Other contenders included independent Rinku Mewada (540 votes), RLP’s Deepak Jangid (155) and independent Deshraj Singh (113). Notably, 82 voters opted for the 'none of the above' choice.
