Health Worker Accused of Assaulting 15-Year-Old in Jamshedpur

A disturbing incident has emerged from Jamshedpur’s Keetadih locality where a government health worker is accused of confining and sexually assaulting a minor girl. The suspect, Munna Tamsi, employed in the malaria section at Gamharia, is reported to have fled after the alleged crime. Investigators say the accused lured the 15-year-old to his house late at night, locked her inside and committed the offence. The frightened child returned home only after several hours and narrated the incident to her sister the next morning, prompting the family to approach the police. Parsudih station house officer has confirmed that the suspect’s two-wheeler has been impounded and multiple teams are conducting raids. Medical tests of the victim have been ordered and statements are being recorded. Panchayat members and local leaders have demanded immediate arrest and strict punishment, describing the act as shameful. Residents have also urged the administration to ensure the safety of minors in the area.
