Harsh Malhotra opens Atal Canteen at Anand Vihar, promises affordable meals for the needy

During the observance of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s death anniversary, Delhi BJP chief Harsh Malhotra inaugurated an "Atal Canteen" at Anand Vihar. The canteen, launched alongside local MLA Om Prakash Sharma and Deputy Mayor Monica Pant, will provide a balanced meal for just five rupees, targeting economically vulnerable sections of society.

Malhotra emphasized that the canteens are more than a cheap‑food scheme; they are a tangible expression of the party’s promise to deliver respect and dignity to the hungry. He also cited other welfare steps such as the women’s prosperity scheme and free LPG cylinders distributed during festive seasons.
