Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Enters Fifth Year, Boosts Patriotic Sentiment

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative, launched after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes, celebrated its fifth anniversary this year. Chief Minister Manik Saha praised the movement for strengthening emotional ties between people and the tricolor.

Saha highlighted that the campaign has encouraged households across Tripura and the country to display the flag, fostering a sense of pride and collective responsibility. He said the flag is not merely three colours; it carries the legacy of those who fought for independence and the sacrifices of martyrs.

The minister appealed to the youth, reminding them that the horrors of Partition are a stark lesson in history. By participating in the flag‑hoisting drive, young Indians can honor past heroes while committing to a future of unity and development.
