Forensic Findings Reveal Refrigerated Head and Cut Digits in Guwahati Killing

Forensic teams recovered the victim's detached head from a refrigerator, wrapped in a black polyethylene bag. Several of Ria's fingers were also found sliced and placed with the head. Early forensic analysis suggests the murder took place 24 to 48 hours before the body was discovered.

The crime scene showed blood spatter across the apartment, scattered personal belongings, and a sharp, double‑edged weapon referred to locally as a "dao".
