Gurugram Couple Found Dead in Flat; Engineer’s Email Triggers Investigation

Police in Gurugram are probing a double death that occurred on the morning of October 15 in a luxury flat of the M3M Marina complex, Sector 68. The deceased were a 28‑year‑old woman, Farhana, and her 30‑year‑old husband, Mohammad Aslam, who worked as a software engineer. Before committing the act, Aslam emailed senior staff at his workplace, indicating his plan to kill himself and requesting that his father and landlord be informed. When officers arrived, Farhana’s body lay on the ground while Aslam was found hanging from a ceiling fan. A suicide note recovered from the apartment corroborates the sequence of events, but the precise trigger for the tragedy is still under examination.
