Gunmen Kill Land Dealer in Muzaffarpur Daylight Murder

Tension gripped Muzaffarpur after a shocking daylight murder unfolded in the Mushahari police station limits. A land broker named Prabhat Mishra was gunned down by unidentified assailants while he was at Rohua Chowk. The attackers, numbering five and riding motorcycles, fired multiple shots at close range, striking the victim in the face and other parts of the body. The brutal killing occurred in broad daylight, sending waves of fear through the neighborhood. Local residents and family members immediately rushed Prabhat to a nearby hospital, but his condition deteriorated rapidly. He was later shifted to the medical college where doctors pronounced him dead. Police arrived at the scene within minutes of receiving information about the incident. City SP Mohibullah Ansari, who visited the spot, said the murder appears linked to a land dispute, though the exact motive is still under investigation. Forensic experts collected shell casings and other evidence, while teams scanned CCTV footage from surrounding areas. Several people have been detained for questioning as the police work to identify the killers and establish the sequence of events leading to the crime.
