GTB Enclave Investigation Leads to Capture of Burglary Ring

Following a burglary reported on July 19, 2026, Delhi’s Shahdara police formed a special task force under the direction of the DCP and ACP. The unit examined the crime scene, reviewed nearby CCTV recordings, and activated a network of informants. By cross‑referencing the footage with existing criminal databases, investigators identified three repeat offenders from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. All three—Manoj alias Jeetu, Akib alias Lale, and Mahendra Mishra—were apprehended at their residences. The recovered gold jewellery has been catalogued as evidence, and the suspects have admitted participation in the theft, also revealing two other robberies they carried out in the same police jurisdiction.
