Group of 25 Disabled Persons Seek Long Life for PM Modi and CM Yogi in Ayodhya

A delegation of 25 disabled persons, accompanied by 60 volunteers, reached Ayodhya on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Led by former Delhi mayor Shyam Sunder Agrawal, the group travelled by air specifically to offer prayers at the sacred Ram Lalla shrine.

After an initial stop at the Hanumangarhi, the pilgrims entered the Ram Temple where they collectively requested divine blessings for the Prime Minister’s long and healthy life. They also asked for the well‑being of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, citing his role in making the state a leading example of development and law‑order.

The participants expressed that the pilgrimage was both a devotional act and a statement of inclusion. One of the visitors, named Ruchi, shared that she had flown especially to seek blessings for the nation’s leader. Another attendee, Ashok Kumar Kapoor, mentioned it was his first air journey and he prayed earnestly for the PM’s longevity.

This event underscores the intertwining of political reverence and spirituality in contemporary India, while also showcasing the government’s commitment to making pilgrimages accessible to all citizens.
