Graduates Urged to Blend Success with Service, Governor Highlights

During the graduation ceremony at Barkatullah University, Governor Mangubhai Patel called on the newly minted scholars to marry personal success with social responsibility. He emphasized that true accomplishment is measured not only by accolades but also by contributions to nation‑building.

Patel cited the upcoming 2047 target for a developed India, explaining that the country needs the fresh ideas and energetic involvement of its youth to achieve it. He praised students for years of hard work, discipline and perseverance, and reminded them to stay grateful to parents and teachers.

The governor highlighted the historic Indian learning model, where education served as a pathway to truth, ethical conduct and collective welfare. He cited the story of Krishna, Balram and Sudama studying together under a guru as an inspiring example of inclusive learning.

He concluded by encouraging graduates to uphold the dignity of their alma mater and families, to act as ambassadors of Indian values, and to keep the flame of service alive in every professional endeavor.
