Governor Kataria and Dr. Sahni discuss skill training at Ludhiana event

During the Ludhiana event, Governor Kataria praised Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahni for his work linking Gen Z with skill‑building initiatives that align with the Prime Minister’s vision. Sahni explained that the Sun Foundation runs a statewide network of skill centres, having trained 6,560 youths, placed 5,426 in jobs, and helped 410 start their own enterprises. The foundation also operates twelve de‑addiction and rehabilitation centres, providing skill training to 500 recovering patients each year, many of whom secure employment or launch businesses.
