Government vows swift action on Ram temple fraud, says BJP spokesperson

Patna, July 8 – Responding to growing public concern over the alleged diversion of Ram temple offerings, BJP spokesperson Gurudev Prakash assured that the Uttar Pradesh government is taking decisive steps. He outlined a sequence of actions that began with the registration of an FIR, followed by the formation of a Special Investigation Team, extensive probing, and several arrests.

Prakash emphasized that the administration is handling the case with "speed and sensitivity" and that any individual found to be part of the conspiracy will face stringent legal consequences. He cited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s firm stance that no one involved in the temple fraud will be spared.

The spokesperson also stressed the need for impartial investigations into any irregularities discovered in temples, monasteries, or other religious institutions. He argued that faith‑based sites must be protected from corruption, and that accountability should be swift and transparent.

In his remarks, Prakash connected the issue to broader concerns about political corruption, saying that jobs exchanged for land and other quid‑pro‑quo schemes are unacceptable. He called for a politics based on service, not personal enrichment.
