Government Railway Jobs: 175 Vacancies Open for Engineers, Few Days Left to Apply

The Indian government’s rail sector is offering 175 junior‑engineer vacancies through NHRCL, covering various engineering streams such as civil, electrical, signaling, telecom, rolling stock and safety. Applications started on 15 June and will close on 14 July, leaving only two days for interested candidates. Required qualifications include a recognised engineering diploma or degree and experience aligned with the specific post. Candidates must be not older than 45 years as of 31 May, with age relaxation for reserved categories. The recruitment process includes a CBT, document verification and a medical examination. Salary packages range from ₹40,000 to ₹1,25,000 per month, supplemented by allowances and other perks. Application charges of ₹400 (plus bank fees) apply to UR/OBC/EWS candidates, whereas SC, ST and female applicants are exempt.
