Government to Issue Ration Cards and Free Utilities to Eligible Families

As part of the Indiramma housing project, the Telangana administration is fast‑tracking the distribution of ration cards to all qualified households. Officials have pledged to complete the issuance within 48 hours of verification, ensuring that families receive essential food grains without delay.

Alongside the ration cards, the scheme guarantees 200 units of free electricity per home, regular supply of quality rice, and additional welfare schemes to improve living standards. These measures are designed to complement the new housing units, creating a comprehensive support system for the poor.

The state also announced that vacant positions across various departments will be filled promptly, targeting youth unemployment and aiming to provide stable jobs for the region’s growing workforce.
