Government Pushes Indigenous Supply Chain Ahead of 2026 Vertices Event

Speaking at the joint CII‑Ministry of Civil Aviation initiative ‘VertEX 2026’, the minister highlighted the government's ambition to nurture a robust aerospace manufacturing ecosystem within India. He cited the success of the domestic mobile‑phone and auto component sectors – both now worth around $70 billion – as models for how an indigenous supply chain can be built for aerospace as well.
