Government announces housing projects on reclaimed mafia land in Prayagraj

The Uttar Pradesh administration reported that lands seized from mafia and organised crime groups have been cleared for public use. In Prayagraj’s Kasari‑Masari area, the reclaimed plot will be developed as a residential hub named ‘Shri Krishna Puri’, providing homes for the poor. Yogi Adityanath said the zero‑tolerance policy against criminals not only strengthens public confidence in law but also creates an environment conducive to investment, industry and overall development.
