Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin will be on a two-day organisational visit to Goa on October 27 and 28. The visit holds special importance in view of the forthcoming assembly elections in the state, with the party focusing on its organisational structure and campaign roadmap.
During the visit, Nabin will meet the state leadership and elected representatives in several important sessions. He will also hold a youth dialogue session and outline the party's future campaigns.
On October 27, Nabin is expected to reach Goa at 2:30 PM. At 3:50 PM, he will address the state executive committee meeting at 'Atal Bhawan'. He will then meet all party MPs, MLAs and ministers from the state, followed by a participation in an important core committee meeting of the Goa BJP.
The second day, Wednesday, October 28, will start with prayers at the Shri Mahalaxmi Temple in Panaji. At 9:45 AM, Nabin will arrive at the state party office, 'Atal Bhawan', to engage with youth in the 'Yuva Samvad' programme.
Earlier, on October 26, Nabin attended the 'Global Summit 2026' at the Shantivan campus of the Brahma Kumaris in Abu Road, along with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The event was organised to mark 90 years of the organisation's spiritual and service journey.
Speaking at the summit, Nabin pledged the government's full backing for the 'Nasha-Mukt Bharat' campaign. He said the Prime Minister has a record of achieving the goals he sets and noted that the Union Home Minister had resolved to make India drug-free by 2029. He said a young person who frees himself from addiction protects not only his own life but also his family's expectations and the nation's strength.
